"Quick and Easy Verification"
So... I used citizencard for identity verification and it was smooth overall. Uploading my details was straightforward, though I did have to retake one photo before it went through. I ended up getting verified quicker than I expected, so I’d definitely use it again.

"Refund was handled without any hassle"
I accidentally cancelled my application and thought it might turn into a whole back-and-forth, but they sorted the refund without making it awkward. It did take a couple of days to hear back, but that wasn’t a big deal for me. They replied, handled it, and everything turned out fine

"Handy sometimes, but come on"
I got my CitizenCard mostly for age checks, and to be fair, it has worked in a few places. But then some shops and bars still acted unsure or asked for my passport anyway. Like, give me a break, isn’t that the whole point of having the card? The card itself is fine, but it’s just not as accepted as I expected, so it’s been a bit less useful than I hoped.

"it was okay overall, but some parts…"
it was okay overall, but some parts were a bit confusing. i think it would be a lot better if the instructions or details were explained more clearly.

"Gets scratched up fast"
It looked nice at first, but yeah, it started getting scratches quickly. I mean, I wasn’t being super rough with it or anything, so it was a little disappointing to see marks show up that soon

"Helpful support when things got confusing"
I ran into an issue with my application and wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do next, which probably says a bit about how clear the process was in the first place. I emailed customer service and got a helpful reply quickly. They explained everything in normal, easy-to-understand language and didn’t make me feel dumb for asking. In the end, it got sorted without much stress. Really appreciated the support.

"Worked, but I felt uneasy about the whole process"
I used CitizenCard and, to be fair, it worked okay in the end. But I didn’t love how much personal information I had to hand over. It kind of felt like once I started, I was stuck going through with it because I needed the ID, even though I wasn’t totally comfortable. I wish the site explained how they store and protect your data in a clearer, more straightforward way. Maybe everything is secure, but it didn’t really leave me feeling confident.

"Quick help, but I’d still expect a small gesture"
I had a small issue with my CitizenCard application and messaged them not expecting much. To be fair, they got back to me quickly and explained what I needed to do in a really clear way, so I wasn’t left guessing or chasing them for days.

It got sorted without loads of back and forth, which I did appreciate. That said, since it was still a hassle on my end, I’d kind of expect some sort of compensation or small gesture for the inconvenience, but overall the support team were helpful and actually replied

"They Did Fix It in the End"
Yeah, it took a while, but they did get it fixed. I know some people might be quick to complain about the wait, but at least they followed through and handled the issue.

"Does the job, but a bit pricey"
Got my CitizenCard without any issues and it works fine for what I needed. The application was straightforward too, so no real complaints there. I just felt like the cost was a bit much for what it is, if you know what I mean. It’s not bad or anything, just one of those things where you’re like, hmm, could be better value...

"Easy enough"
Uploaded my photo on citizencard.com and it was straightforward. Thought it might get rejected, but it was approved quickly. No hassle, just followed the steps and it was fine. Happy with it

"Pretty much no one takes it"
I got a CitizenCard thinking it’d be handy for ID, but loads of places just wouldn’t accept it. Shops, venues, all sorts. Bit annoying really, feels like a waste of money when you keep getting told no.

"I applied on Monday and, to be..."
I applied on Monday and, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting it to move that quickly. I’ve had these things drag on before, so I was kind of ready for a bit of waiting around.

But the updates came through without me needing to chase anyone, which was a nice change. There was one moment where I thought it might slow down, but it was nothing really and it sorted itself out fast.
My card ended up being sorted much quicker than I expected. Overall it was simple, smooth, and I’m really happy with how fast everything was.

"Super easy, even without a passport"
As someone who gets stressed about travel documents, I was relieved by how easy this was without needing a passport. The whole process felt simple and hassle-free. Thanks!

"Pretty easy to use"
It was easy enough to use overall, just got a bit slow at times. Not a huge deal, but yeah, I did notice it here and there.

"Decent service, but delivery could definitely be better"
The card did show up in the end, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything. But I’m absolutely convinced it took longer than it should have, and the tracking was not helpful at all. Like, I knew for sure I wasn’t getting a clear update. Overall, not a bad service, but delivery needs to be way more reliable.

"I was able to get through the…"
I was able to get through the application in the end, but using the site on my phone felt a little clunky. A few pages loaded slowly, and I found myself double-checking things because I didn’t want to accidentally submit something wrong. It worked, but it wasn’t the smoothest experience, especially if you like to be cautious with important forms.

"A little confusing but got there in the end"
The application was okay overall, but I got kind of confused about which documents they actually needed. Some parts were straightforward, but other parts felt like these things always make you guess and send whatever paperwork you think might be right. It all worked out in the end, but it definitely took longer than I thought it would...

"Quick replacement and no hassle"
I had to get a replacement sorted out, and it was quicker than I expected. I was kind of preparing for it to take a while because these things usually happen when you’re already busy with other errands, but the whole renewal process went fine. Nothing complicated, no weird issues, just got it done and moved on with my day.

"Do you like being robbed? Then CitizenCard is here for you!"

I have had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with CitizenCard ID. I made my application well over two weeks ago, and paid the fee upfront, expecting a prompt service, smooth application and good communication. However, I have been left unsupported and ignored, with my application (ID: 634065) left on hold indefinitely.

My application was put on hold initially as the photographs of my ID were unclear, however the application process insisted on using a website with poor camera control to take the photos and no matter what manner of lighting or angles or flash/no flash I used, the photos would not come out clear. Therefore, predictably, my application was placed on hold and I was told to expect a message from them soon.

It has been over two weeks since my application was placed on hold and despite sending emails to contact@citizencard.com and postofficepasscard@citizencard.com (their website says to expect a reply in 48 hours), I have been entirely ignored and my application frozen without any updates. I have checked my junk emails and inbox daily and tried my best to contact CitizenCard in other ways, however they provide no phone number or online chat service and have utterly neglected my application after taking my money. I am deeply disappointed with them and at this point just hope that if they won't provide the service that they've charged me for, then they can at least give me a refund, though my hopes aren't high.

In short - I would suggest getting a provisional license or some other form of ID: CitizenCard stop caring about your application the moment you enter your payment information. 0/10 - could not recommend them if my life depended on it.
